Made of solid brass! 

The magician borrows a bill from a spectator and has it marked. The bill is then rolled into a tube and a rubberband is placed around it. It is then inside a hanky given to a spectator to hold. Next, the bill tube is introduced and shown to be locked and secure. There is no apparent way to get into the tube without unlocking it. The tube is given to another spectator to hold. On the count of three, the hanky is shaken and shown to be empty. The magician then introduces a pair of keys. They are given to the spectators, who unlock the tube revealing the signed bill inside! A tube is shown empty and place aside. A solid brass block and rod are shown to fit inside of the tube.


The block is placed in the tube and the holes are aligned and then locked in place by the rod.


The performer then taps the tube and the block passes thru the rod.

The ring is placed underneath a handkerchief, the corners of which are held down by the spectator.
A brass box is given to a second spectator to hold.
The box is obviously closed. After saying the magic words the ring disappears from beneath the handkerchief.
The ring is found inside the brass box! The box takes awhile to unscrew its lid.

Any small object that can fit into the box can be used for this trick.

During the whole routine you show BOTH Chip and Coins.


A chip is shown, RED BOTH SIDES, and placed on the table.

BORROW two coins and place them on each side of the chip. All three items are now covered with three brass covers.

Ask the spectator to follow the chip. Move the covers around and ask the spectator, where the chip is. He is wrong. Repeat a couple of times. He is wrong every time.

Remove one of the covers with the coin and repeat with only two covers. The spectator is still wrong and can not find the chip.

Finally work with only one cover. Put a die on top so the spectator can identify the chip!!

Move it around and ask for the chip. The chip has gone. A coin is left. Bring out the chip from your pocket.


Everything can be examined: Chip, Coins, and Covers!


Don’t compare this trick with other versions. With this precision made set, you openly remove the cover of spectators choice, direct, not indirect as with other versions and every time the choice of the spectator is wrong.

Five different colored discs are shown along with a small metal container. The spectator is invited to choose any disc and seal it inside the container.

The remaining discs are then hidden inside a small cloth bag.

All of this is done with the magician’s back turned.

Upon completion, the magician faces the spectator and immediately divines the selected color!

A brass canister, lid & die are examined. As you look away, a spectator puts the die in the canister, remembers the number on top, & covers with the lid.

You turn around, concentrate, then write a number on a piece of paper. The lid is lifted, revealing the number on the die...it matches the prediction!

No questions. No fishing. This clever device gives you all the information.

Thanks to Chuck Leach's improvement in the design, you no longer need to turn the box over to discern the number. In fact, you don't even need to touch it!

Don't confuse Die-Cipher II with the various versions of Mental Die. This is much better! Die-Cipher II tells you the exact number selected!

Sneaky effect! 

Five colored brass discs are displayed and the spectator is asked to flip the discs over and mix them up, hiding the different colors.

The spectator selects a disc and is asked to place all discs in the container. The container is sealed and a string is run through the center.

Magically, the performer is able to make the selected disc escape from the string of discs and drop out of the chamber!

With just a gentle rub you are able to make the "teeth" of the key move around the cylinder! Then, right in front of the spectator's disbelieving eyes, you move the teeth right down to the bottom of the cylinder.

For a great finish you hand out the key for examination and the teeth are seen to be solidly WELDED in the wrong place - there's no way you could have moved them!

The magician holds a double headed bolt, having the two threaded pivots of different dimension: one is bigger and the other is smaller. Now he threads one nut on the small pivot and then on the bigger one… the IMPOSSIBLE thing is that he always uses the same nut!
